Will the Warmasters system be at a set point value for tournaments? Or is it up to the tournament organizer to set the point value.

I know woodstock was saying 1800pts, but I have seen quite a few 1850pts.

Is it both, one or the other?

Ridvan,

Warmasters is simply providing a ranking system for the players who play in the tournaments.

We have made suggestions like HoH as to how a tournament can be scored. However, Tournament organizers have the option to ignore our suggestions completely with regards to scoring or even point values. For example, the WMC Doubles doesn't follow a standard scoring system that is in the guide (Judge scored painting and the addition of a theme category). And we are still discussing which scoring system will be used for the WMC Doubles.

Darkstorm is correct. For 40k the WMC Singles is 1850pts, and the WMC Doubles is 1000pts.

Woodstock has chosen 1800pts for their 40k tournaments. I will be getting their listings for the next few months up shortly.

Later,

The difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference, but in practice, there is.
