Games Day 2010

I'm sure most folks already know this, but in case you didn't... Games Workshop has announced that there will be no Games Day Canada in 2010 (news release here). I think this kinda sucks. Games Day was a great event for the GW community in Canada that wasn't based around a tournament or competitive play. I for one will miss it.

The Warmaster Council aims to help the community to achieve maximum enjoyment from the Hobby through our events. Our endeavors could end up going towards a more Games Day like setup if that is what the players start asking us for....so in reality its all up to you guys.

is it wrong to wonder if the Warmasters Council can some how capitalize on this in the future? I mean... maybe getting a pseudo Games Day set up?
